PLEASE HELP!!!! First of all, I am NOT a tech guy. And I do not know all the lingo. However, I am a musician that needs help!!! I run livestream shows through Facebook and Zoom. I use a Tascam mixer/recorder---to a Scarlett Solo---to OBS (HP laptop, Windows 10).
Every single recording that I make a broadcast or recording, the input sound cuts out at about 7-10 minutes. This is KILLING me, and my broadcasts.
Each time it cuts out, I have to quickly unplug the Focusrite USB cable from the computer port. Then quickly plug it back into the computer port...Then the sound comes back.
HELLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!!!!
Because of this issue, I have not been able to broadcast in a long time!!

Are you doing any hardware resource monitoring? is your PC overloaded? or search on USB Root Hub issues, assuming sound and video camera coming to same USB Hub and what may be a low-powered laptop? you may be overloading the USB sub-system... or your CPU could be maxed out and something has to give, and in your case is the the USB connection?

You probably have electrical problems from your audio equipment to your usb audio converter, provably related on GROUNDS, there may some leaks that USB doesn't stand and blocks.
Or your USB isn't able to sustain too high peaks of sound.
Or the driver are buggy (update them).
I would suggest you to change the audio device or consider to buy a professional one
