Ok Guys this is my first time ever posting on a forum so dont let me down :)... The issue here is whenever I open up OBS Studio I immediately drop dramatic FPS on any game that I am on. (Battlefield 1, Rust, H1Z1, Rainbow six Siege etc.... Keep in mind i can run all theese games at max settings without a problem but as soon as i open either of the OBS program the regular one or even the studio one i drop FPS and can get lower that 60fps at 1080p. Now lets take Battlefield 1 for example i get around 130 FPS Max everything 100% Scale. Open OBS drop to 50-60 fps and when i start recording drops down to 20fps even lower sometimes that is just ridiculous!!!! i have all the settings done right i hope i have it to where the Video Capture card is set on OBS. Im sure i also have the latest updates on both OBS programs but im mainly focusing on OBS Studio for this post. like i just wanna be able to record Battlefield 1 at 1080p 60fps with no problem and i will be happy. My specs are listed below im sure its more than enough to do the job but what is happening!!!??!? It shows 60fps on OBS but my game drops dramatically i also posted below the OBS Log file below. Please help me out here guys i really need it its so frustrating i just built this computer as well everything is new but the power supply and the HDD 2tb like less than a week new ;-;

upload a log with a recording/stream in it (record for a few minutes then upload that log)

My guess is that your game is using up almost all your CPU/GPU and leaving little to none for OBS, try turning on VSync or capping the games framerate much lower and that should fix your problem.

Very few framedrops here. Seems to be fine.

for local recordings use these settings and make sure to select the NVENC encoder.

also create a new scene for each game instead of piling them all into one scene.

also make sure you graphics drivers are up to date.
