Please Help Me

Recently I was trying to get back into recording videos. So I started recording my games. I've noticed that after I finished recording, the video comes out very choppy or laggy and I've been messing around with the settings and see what I can do to fix it, such as FPS, Bitrate, etc. Everything I did when I adjusted the settings, nothing happened and the recordings still looked the same. I don't know if it is my computer that's making it an issue for me to record or not.
These are my specs
Ryzen 5600x
Nvidia RTX 2060 Super
32 GB Ram

Windows media player isn't good enough. Try using VLC player. Or in any good modern video editor like DaVinci Resolve.
