Question / Help Please help me with my settings!

Hey i want to start recording and streaming on my pc but i think my settings are wrong because my game isnt lagging but my recording is.
My specs are:
Gtx 1060 3g
i5 6400
msi h110m pro-d
1 tb western digital blue
8 gb of ram
corsair vs550

please help me with my settings so that i can start recording and streaming, thanks in advance.

Use Game Capture instead of Display Capture for games.

Also, make sure you're capping FPS in the game to avoid your GPU being maxed out.

I would recommend outputting your stream to 720p/30 vs 1080/30 due to an i5 CPU as well as the fact that you are lagging despite using NVEC for encoding. lowering your quality rate factor and disable 2-pass? Best to try out the Studio Auto-config wizard and adjust settings based on what it recommends.

Do you mean by capping FPS like vsync? so that i keep a steady 60 fps?
