Dear all,

I am using a MacBook Pro 16 inch to play and record my gameplay on the Switch with Elgato HD 60S. My setting for the switch is FULL RANGE when in TV Mode.

The Game Capture HD setting is 1080 60 FPS with BEST quality selected and HDMI color range to EXPANDED.

On my MacBook screen the Live Preview represents an accurate color for the game however the recorded gameplay footage is not, the picture quality seems to be washed out, colors are less vibrant and a bit dull. Is there anyway to have better footage quality?

I have included a picture for reference, the left one is from LIVE PREVIEW, the right one is from the recorded game play. Both are displayed by one single screen for comparison.

Thank you so much.

That’s because your Color range is Expanded. This is the reason why it looks more washed out.

Hi thanks for the reply, I tried changing it to STANDARD instead of EXPANDED. Same results, the picture quality is the same.
