The logs show nothing when this happens, someone has covered that already, so I'm not gonna waste your time with those.

I've tried the following things:

Got a replacement HD60X unit from elgato after contacting support.

Issue continued so I started trouble shooting.

Replaced all stock HDMI cords, the USBC cord, the splitter with a switcher just in case that was causing an issue.

Xbox settings are exactly how they are supposed to be.

Tested it on two Xbox's. Three Monitors.

Reset my Mac, Fresh software installs, etc.

All settings (encoders, bitrates, etc.) yield the same result.

No specific sound causes it and I don't even have to be recording for it to happen. I can just be sitting in OBS, with the source active and it can do this.

Once the sound happens, I can go to Streamlabs website, fresh install the software, add the Elgato, and the sound it there.

That's how I know it's the Elgato because I have to reset it specifically to make the sound stop. Sound is find on my Mac.

I'm losing my mind. I just want to record. How do I fix this and what's causing it?
