Okay, so I have this on-going issue where OBS will be perfectly fine and record in-game audio, when I am recording (I don't stream) my videos off Xbox One. Then for whatever reason it just stops and no matter what I do, I cannot fix the issue. I have done everything that I've found on Google and YouTube to resolve this matter. For awhile, I would go into Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Sound and select the Default Device without any problems. I could even switch back and forth between listening through my headset like for watching videos, listening to music, etc. then back over to my Default Device for recording in-game audio without issue. Now when I try doing so I can still use my headset, but when I switch back over to my Default Device to record in-game audio. It just lays there like a dead fish. Really sick and tired of this, and all these so-called "fixes" that are supposed to work and DO NOT!
Can anyone recommend a permanent solution for this, so I don't have to deal with it again? I'd greatly appreciate it. Oh and something else I noticed that is new and hasn't happened before. When I have OBS open, if I am watching a video/show my Default Device in OBS will show the volume going up and down, like it did when I record in-game audio. But as soon as I pause and stop the video/show the audio dies. What's that all about?
