Please help - Constant freezing in my game recordings

When recording gameplay the video randomly freezes (while sound continues) several times in my videos, which is very frustrating for content creation. I recently got a new pc with the following specs and this has been happening consistently:

RX 7800 XT
R5 7600x
32GB RAM

I sometimes get the "your encoder is overloaded..." message in OBS as well.

I previously had a lower spec pc with a 3060 and this never happened.

Send it to the recycle bin, VLC or anything else for that matter is helping that recording. It's slop.

Try using the Balanced or Speed Preset instead of Quality.

Thanks, somehow I looked right past it. But yes the speed preset should resolve this.
