Please add a Start/Stop timer

This would add to the functionality of this software enormously. Think DVR. The other thing that would be really useful is add a sound channel from video sources such as USB digitizers. Right now I have a kludge going where I am running an audio cable between my video source in my computer sound input. It is definitely a kludge.

Nope,still learning the in's and outs of this package. right now, I'm reviewing my finances to see how much I can contribute. is there a user manual anywhere?

I found something that fits my need. If you go to output timer in the tools menu you can record for a preset amount of time which does a lot of what I was looking for. Still would like a start timer but I don't see that happening

I agree they deffinetly should. I think any 3rd party software is annoying because it can be a virus but i agree with this statement.

Yep, this is something I'd love to see added also. Feature: 1) Start recording time (options: date, recurrence), 2) Stop recording time, 3) Stop recording after X time. At this time, I am using Task Scheduler to start recording, and OBS' output timer to stop.

Just use Advanced Scene Switcher :) (not to be confused with automatic scene switcher).
