Playing games with PS5 controller affects audio in OBS

I was recently playing nier automata with a ps5 controller. I was recording and when I went back to look at the recording I saw that the voices sounded far away. Like game audio works but when I went into cut scenes their voices where far. While playing I didn't notice any difference but the recording was affected. I can provide mp4 to better see the problem but I have searched the internet and haven't seen any solutions to this.
