Question / Help Playing a Pre-recorded video at a certain timestamp

I ran into an issue where while I was live-streaming I cut to the next scene of an image before the media source (video) finished.

I switched back to the video but it started from the beginning. Is it possible to play a video from a certain point with OBS?

In the properties for the media source, you can uncheck "restart playback when source becomes active".

If you do this, media will continue playing when inactive instead of restarting.

Media playback controls I believe are planned in a future version; until then, there is the VLC source which can be used to get video from a VLC playlist, and you can use the VLC GUI to control playback.
