Playing a DVD Video in OBS through VLC source

Hi,
I have OBS version 27.2.4 and installed the latest version of VideoLAN 64 bit.
The VideoLAN source is detected by OBS.
So I would like to know if within the VideoLAN source, OBS is able to directly play the entire structure of a DVD Video, selecting audio, chapters and subtitles.
Is it possible, or am I forced to rip the entire DVD Video to a video file every time?

This is solidly in the realm of, "people will use the answer to flagrantly violate copyright," even if you personally don't intend to. So you're probably not going to get much help for that reason. Sorry.

I asked a specific question and wanted a specific answer... and this is not an appropriate answer.
I have to work on a personal project that has nothing to do with public sharing and copyright infringement.
Otherwise I will look elsewhere.

I repeat: is it possible, or am I forced to rip the entire DVD Video to a video file every time?
