OBS did not exit and the computer was not locked up.
The playback simply quit.
I was streaming it at the time to a local rtmp server.
The video file was being played from a shared file on a Win10Pro computer "server" over 100Mbps ethernet.
Another computer, reading the same file over the network, continued to play.
Going back into the source's properties, making a modification to the file list and saving, restarted the playback.
While I was looking it over, a message came up above the taskbar in the windows message area
saying something like "OBS: Reconnection Successful". I tried to screen shot it but I missed it.
It was hard to read due to transparencies getting jumbled up.
