Play video on zoom? or OBS?

I'm streaming a live theatre show on zoom, interspersed with short video segments. This is a total beginner's question: do I play my video segments on zoom using screen share, or do I play my video segments on OBS by clicking that scene? If that's the case, do I need to configure the audio differently for the videos than the live zoom feed? Thanks for any wisdom!

I don't know your exact setup, but what I've been doing for my church is simply running all the videos through OBS. Your idea of using Zoom would work as well, however I find that it just gets messy using that.

To configure the audio what I do is I set the zoom microphone to same as system. Then in the control panel go to sound, then under recording switch the default microphone from your input over to your stereo mix. This will allow the audio from the video to go through Zoom.
