Question / Help Pixelated Stream/Foliage with x264 Encoding, Medium, 6000 Bitrate

Hello All,

I have just upgraded almost my entire rig and am looking for additional information and thoughts by the experts. I just upgraded to the following:

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x
GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 Super
RAM: 32 GB Ripjaws
PSU: EVGA G5 1000 W 80+

I've noticed that while playing Escape From Tarkov in foliage heavy areas, the picture quality, once it gets to Twitch, becomes EXTREMELY pixelated and also makes my camera pixelated. I'm using a single PC to game and stream, and everything runs fine and looks fine while playing and while viewing in OBS. I'm currently using x264 Encoding, Medium, with 6,000 Bitrate.

The following link is a published Highlight to show how bad it looks once compressed and encoded:

It's essentially unwatchable. I've seen many other streamers who have this looking much, much better.

Is the issue B-frames? Is it my resolution?

The Log File from my last stream has been attached. I do drop some frames during the duration of the entire stream, but I can't figure out why it's so pixelated and blotchy. Any ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

you can uncheck enforce streaming service encoder settings and bumb your bitrate to 8000. But in the end i would recommend to turn the grass off ingame, that will help more.

I shouldn't need to turn the grass off I wouldn't think. Is that even possible for Escape from Tarkov? From looking at the in-game settings there is no option for that. While reviewing other streamers and their quality, they have grass on and it looks easily 10x as clean with no blur or pixelation. But, I will try unchecking that setting. Thanks!

Edit: The "Enforce stream setting service encoder settings" box is already unchecked.

Foliage is a worst case scenario for most encoders. Completely eliminating all artifacts at 6000 kbps is not a realistic expectation.

Are there any recommendations for which I should try to removing the pixelation? It can obviously be done, but I'm not sure what exactly is needed for that.
