Question / Help Performance hit just running OBS with preview disabled

I'm getting ~5-6+ fps performance hit in Deus Ex Mankind Divided just running OBS with preview disabled and not recording anything. Is this normal?

Does anyone else having this?

I see. How is it explained? OBS doesn't seem to do anything. Shadowplay doesn't have any performance hit when not recording.
I'm just curious.
