It would IMO be useful to have volume controls where audio devices are assigned to tracks, or at least a pre-fader/pre-FX (when using VST plugins) tap in advanced audio properties.
The use case would be, e.g., a stream mix where a recorded game has low loudness behind a compressed microphone track. At the same time, local recording could then provide separate raw audio tracks at full dynamic range for each source so you could cut out parts without any voice-over or reprocess it for higher quality publication and archival.
I realise you could do that with external software like Banana, but at the same time the straight taps may not be too much of an implementation and UI issue.
