Here's the thing. I've been trying to livestream a few games recently and the issue is that while my viewers can't hear my mic nor the music i set to play.. I can hear it just fine. My mic isn't broke because i tested it at skype, discord and windows mic check and it works just fine. OBS also seems to be capturing my voice and the music i play but everyone else who watches my stream seems to be only be able to hear the in game sound. I am using a 50 inch plasma LG HD tv as my monitor and the sound is set to it but, i also tried setting it back to my headphone countless times and still the issue is the same. Honestly i'm stumped here. I don't know what to do anymore and i really, really need help on this matter. i created an account here just to ask this because i don't know what to do anymore.

P.S: sorry for my english, it's a bit disjointed because i'm from Brazil actually.

How about you do a recording of your OBS program and show your settings in all the menues, then upload that video to you-tube and then give us a link, so we can kan take a look at your settings.

After that is done, start a game and test your "talking".

But the most likely problem is that you have not set your audio settings correctly.

One way to do it is the following.
In the Sources window, Add - Audio Input, and selected your microphone ( Audio input source )

*Sigh* I figured out the problem and i feel like a complete asshat for not realizing it... The program was outdated. My girlfriend suggested for me to run an update check and low and behold my version was 1.6 when the latest version was 1.8. I ran the update and now it is working smooth as butter again... I feel like such an idiot now. I'm sorry for making you folks waste your time with this. X-X
