Hi. I'm using a usb video recorder and am having problems with PCM audio. I changed he input device properties to use custom audio device then selected the digital audio interface (USB Digital Audio). The audio source is PCM and I changed the general audio setting to 7.1 channels. What I get is 2 channel stereo instead of 7.1. If I add an Audio Input Capture and select either the usb audio device I get the all 8 speakers but it is not actually 7.1 sound. If I do a desktop capture of a 7.1 video I do get 7.1 recorded just fine. So what's the trick to recording PCM? Any suggestion as to what to try?
