More so looking for solutions people have found for this issue and not a diagnosis. There are many threads I have found that describe this same or similar issue, none really describe what fixed it for them. Basically my problem is while streaming to twitch using OBS, I will get random BSODs or restarts. Can happen after 5 minutes, 2 hours, or rare occasions not at all. This does not happen to me while just recording, literally not once. Also doesn’t happen when sharing my screen to discord. (While I’m sure there are differences between streaming to twitch over discord.)
Please share any solutions you guys have found if you’ve had a similar problem.
As for me: Graphics and BIOS drivers seem to be all up to date as well as any Windows and OBS updates. I’ve replaced my power supply and ram to see if either of them were the issue. (They were a little old so I figured couldn’t hurt.) I’ve also tried reinstalling windows and wiped my main drive. Crashing still continues.
The rest of my hardware is maybe 5 years old, if that. All higher end stuff at the time. While I can’t rule out it being a faulty piece of hardware, just hard for me to believe that’s the problem. Again, this ONLY happens when streaming to twitch using OBS.
