Hi, I’ve been streaming for quite a while with and have had pretty decent quality overall, streams run smoothly until recently. At the time I have been using a Ryzen 5500 cpu and I recently got a Ryzen 5600x, it usually runs just fine with general gaming but tonight I tried to start streaming like I usually do, but as soon as I pressed the start streaming button, everything on my pc started to become more choppy and laggy. Is there anything I should change in my hardware or is there anything in OBS I should change?

Well, not knowing your hardware one can only guess.
A log file is more than needed, from an actual test stream of no less than 30 seconds doing all you normally do and stopping the stream before uploading the lof file. Look inside help menu on how to upload it. Yes, OBS has a helpful Help menu.
Make sure the BIOS is updated (motherboard). Some motherboard need the BIOS to be updated to support newer CPUs.
And of course, the drivers for the motherboard.
