"Paused" a video then forgot to "stop" recording.

New Member
Then I shut down the computer. Any way to recover and finalize "paused" video so I can watch it? I never "stopped recording" which apparently finalizes the file in some way. Because I never "stopped recording", the file is saved but it's not in a format that I can play/view. How do I get it to a playable format?! Thanks, Steve

The file is likely unrecoverable if it wasn't finalized, this is why there is a warning against recording directly to MP4 / MOV formats.
