Patch 28.0 Strict hotkey modifiers

Hi,
I use OBS for streaming, and I'm an avid fan of first person shooters. I've noticed that since the latest patch, control/shift+my push to talk button means it doesn't work anymore. After some digging I saw in the patch notes saying the hotkeys now require strict modifiers. I've not been able to find an option to turn it off so there is my suggestion.
Being able to turn off the requirement of strict modifiers for hotkeys.

It's very unlikely we will be reverting this change, as it's completely different behavior as people typically expect. We acknowledge that there is some utility to not having strict modifiers, but on the whole those cases are so rare that we feel as though including it as an option would only serve to confuse people and clutter the interface.

Is there any way around it at all? Like using some command-line arguments or a flag in a config file?
It causes big problems with the Push-to-talk hotkey.

Okay, I've found a bit of a workaround. I added 4 extra hotkeys for Push-to-talk, for every possible combination of modifiers that I might press. It almost works perfectly, but there is still a very small break in the audio when you press a modifier. At least it's not completely silent any more.
