Question / Help Parts of Source Blacked Out Only in OBS

In attempting to stream Final fantasy 7, I've had a solid image until a battle begins, at which point OBS can only pick up the menus. Everything looks fine in my actual game, but OBS can only track my menus. I've been flipping through settings for a couple hours now and can't figure out the issue. I've successfully recorded/streamed both older and more recent final fantasy titles. Any help would be appreciated.

This may sound stupid but in your Game Capture source, do you have "Allow Transparency" enabled? Multi-adapter compatibility is also a bit of a jerk I believe if it's on.
