I want to setup OBS for easy recording. Same window, same location, the only thing that changes is the title and content.
Browser source uses internal browser ...
- Shows various prompts and ads requiring interaction
- Interact requires several clicks, special window
+ Source can be adjusted to a specific area, completely free form
- Changing to a different URL requires several clicks and copy/paste
Window mode to capture browser
- Source area can be 'zoomed' but not freely adjusted
- Difficult to capture a specific area. Hard to exclude the titlebar and ribbon.
- The window selection is missing 'prompt for window if not found'
When I want to record, it seems instead I'll be clicking and configuring instead.
For example, when using the internal browser, it would be hugely helpful to have a cross-hair on the main interface to drag to the window I want to record from.
Did I get all this wrong?
