Question / Help overwatch

when I'm trying to record overwatch, the fps in OBS Studio will drop if i don't have enabled VSync. I don't understand why. Let me explain.

Usually, overwatch stays up to 100 fps. but if there are 60+fps in overwatch, the fps in obs studio ( http://prntscr.com/ffrken ) will constantly drop to ~35-50.
The thing is, I can't let the VSync on! When I record with a friend on skype/discord/team speak for some reason if Overwatch has VSync on I will have lag spikes.

My specs :
Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz
ASRock B85M-DGS
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, GTX 970 4GD5T OC, 4GB GDDR5, 256bit
RAM : 12GB

You need to enable vsync or use the in-game FPS limiter. Running without an FPS cap is going to mess with your overall performance because your GPU will max out. If the problem still happens then post a current log file.

Then why do you have a display capture source in your scene?
I used it for something personal, then I opened overwatch. I do not use display capture. But, just because I was curious, i just tried to see if in display capture obs does the same thing. Apparently, it does. Pretty weird.

Thank you for clarifying this for me. I will use VSync when needed. But it's weird, because in normal OBS, I don't have any sort of problems like this. I want to use OBS Studio because of the ability to use microphone filter.
The problem doesn't happen anymore, but the quality of the video is pretty bad. I used auto-configuration wizard.

Can anyone help me with some settings and recommendations? Thank you so much.
