Overlays don't show

Hello, I hope you can hel me with this problem: I got OBS version 25.0.8 (64 bit) for Windows 8 and I use streamelements for the overlays.
I customized them in the page of streamelements and I made sure to click the "save" button when I was done.
I did the process correctly (to be sure I've also watched a couple of video tutorial) but, despite my efforts, when there is a new subscriber or a new follower, during the live trasmission, I can only hear the sound of the overlay and they don't show up so I don't know who the new follower is.
I made sure that the overlay layer was on top of everything, that the setting were correct, but none of it seams to work :(
Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey Lilletta, I'm having the same issue right now and I tried this video, from Jimmy K1nves (From YT), but it didn't work either. In fact, the "Minimum Amount" field he shows in the video it's not even there anymore when you create a blank overlay for the Alert Box.

In any case, the major difference between our setups is that I use Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) instead of Windows and my OBS Studio is 26.1.1 (64 Bit). I'm not really sure if this is an issue with StreamElements or OBS itself, but it would be nice if someone had a tip to share.

You will need to reach out to Streamelements Support for help with their overlays. We can't provide support for third-party alerts sites, beyond advising that you make sure your alert browser source is at the top of the Sources list in your Scene.

Hey there @FerretBomb, thanks for your reply. Well, yesterday I did just what you suggested and what I've learned from the StreamElements guys is that OBS Studio for Linux has no Hardware Acceleration support yet, which is needed in order for the videos show up in the overlays actions/events.

This answer might, in turn, help solve Lilletta's problem, since (s)he's using Windows. Maybe enabling this (Settings > Output > Advanced, I think?) will be enough. As for me, until the HA support is available, I'll just have to use static pictures and, maybe, GIF's.

Small update: GIF's DO work as expected, even in Linux. It's a good enough substitution for the videos.

Thanks everybody!
