Question / Help Overall setup + system audio output in zoom

Hi, I've read a number of tutorials and watched a bunch of videos, but I'm finding myself a little lost with my current setup. I'm a historian and educator, and sometimes documentary maker, looking to run online ed programs via zoom. I'd appreciate any feedback or advice regarding what I've got and how I might improve it, especially the audio.

At present I'm using on a PC laptop:

- Video from a DSLR into OBS using an ATEM Mini Pro switcher, via USB
- Pre-recorded video set up as scenes in OBS, which I switch through using a Stream Deck
- Audio into OBS via USB using a H4N Pro, connected via XLR to a Shure mic
- OBS outputs video and audio to Zoom.

My primary concern is that whilst my mic gives me great vocal audio in Zoom, any pre-recorded video, music, or other sounds on my system don't sound very good. Typically it sounds less like its playing in Zoom directly from my hard drive, and more like its being relayed from a speaker into a mic and back out (I hope that makes sense).

I had explored using a VB-Audio Virtual Cable, but my experiments so far haven't sounded like much of an improvement.

I'm just not too sure I've got the right settings, or set up. Any ideas to point me in the right direction would be great!

Thanks,
John
