I poked about in the Forum for awhile and didn't find this (yet), so as a suggestion to a OBS Command LIne Parameter Programming Guru:
I would find such a future command line parameter for the Output Timer very useful for starting a recording to record for a set length of time:
\obs32.exe --startrecording --recordingoutputtimer:01:00:00
A similar Output Timer command line parameter for streaming for a set length of time would be just as handy:
\obs32.exe --startrecording --streamingoutputtimer:01:00:00
