Output Resolution, native vs scaled, what has bigger performance impact

Hi!
Just quick question for recording. In video tab, if my base canvas is 2560x1440 and i wanna get most performance possible coz i dont care about my recordings being 2k or full hd should i set output resolution to the same base canvas or 1920x1080?

Theoretically if i understand it correctly, the 1920x1090 output resolution should hurt my performance more? Because my GPU has to scale it down right?

encoding 1080p video is less demanding than 1440p.
