So I noticed I'm having a bit of an interesting thing happening in my OBS Studio.
My base resolution is always my native laptop one (since I'm streaming from a laptop, and it's 1366x768), but the output resolution first option is always 1364x768, and I think because of this my PC actually has to use additional resources and rescale the output. I did try setting my output resolution to be the same manually, but in the logs it still said it's outputting on the written resolution (1364). I thought it wasn't big of a deal, but after streaming 1280x720 for some time (again, set manually) I noticed I didn't have that big of a lag jump I expected... So I'm assuming OBS always used my laptop resources to rescale the output.
My only questions are - is this a bug in the application, and can I try doing anything myself? I did try reinstalling OBS completely with no luck.
