Output MP4 file corrupted

Hello! I am relatively new to OBS and made an overnight screen recording. I am aware that the MKV output is much better, but I didn't know this when I started recording, and now that I stopped it my file is completely corrupted and won't open. Is this a common issue, and is there any way to repair it? Nothing's off the table, all help's appreciated. Thanks!

It seems obs produces mp4 files that can be corrupted and cant be opened or sometime be deleted. This has happened to me when recording in mkv and remuxing to mp4. Only fix is to reboot your system or see if anything is currently using that file...

Your CPU and GPU....... is too weak. Upgrade your PC.
