Output in OBS Software is Color Bars with Nintendo Switch

I have my switch connected in the dock and from there HDMI is in the Vivitar input, the output of the Vivitar Capture Card USB is in my computer. Im able to recognize the device on my computer and in other software, but when I connect to it all I see is the color bars. Is the Vivitar Capture Card not compatible with a Nintendo Switch??
