Hello, I'm having somes problems with the OBS using the game capture option, on Dark Souls 3, it doesn't works on full screen, it just display a black screen no matter what I set into the game or on OBS it doesn't display anything, I tried to force the game at dx12 and after at dx11 nothing worked, I have to set it on windows mode and use the Windows Capture set on OBS, it works properly with a imagem very fluid But the DS3 limits the resolutions on windows mode.
On Resident evil 6 on full screen using the Game Capture, without start to record only with the OBS opened the cpu usage suddenly goes to 70% without reason, I tried to lower the resolution and the game quality but it kept using 70% of the cpu even I don't being record nothing! I used the Riva turner to monitor my resources, If I close the OBS, it back among 15-20% that is normal usage for this game; if I start to record on full screen using the Game Capture it goes to 100% of cpu usage(while record), making it impossible to record. I tried to put the Resident evil 6 on windows mode and use the Windows Capture from OBS, it works completely fine the cpu kept 15-20% usage when I began to record the game the usage went to 50-60% of cpu, I use x264 codec, I consider it the normal usage.
Using the Game Capture from OBS on resident evil 6 with the game open on the main screen the cpu usage just up to 70%(the normal is 15-20% on 2.5K) without record anything, I tried to switch the screen and open the task manager to find out what is taking 50% from my resources but the cpu usage drops at the same time, if I open the game again on full screen it starts again to use the 70% of cpu... there is something wrong with the Game Capture from OBS, the windows capture works fine but many games limits the resolutions while on windows mode. All of my games are originals
