Hello. I'm looking to optimize setting for streaming graphics and filters over a DJ stream. It may be simple that the images I'm using are too large. But even if I correct that (whcih I'm about to) I need this thing optimized because RekordBox DJ software is such a hog. Balancing between the two is really challenging on this old system. I can tell you this: If I just stream normal video, no filters/graphics, and DJ without switching between apps, the stream will be 100%. So, there is hope! But I need it better for my creative purposes.
My goal is to be able to use graphics/animations/filters in different scenes and be able to switch back and forth between my DJ software and OBS to manage the presentation to match the music. I'm already using AutoHotKey for some things and I've got some great ideas but if I could just squeeze out a touch more performance everyone will be happier :) haha.
I'm getting CPU usage of 80-97%.. Things are really laggy and it makes my audio extremely stuttered. I just learned I can disable the preview window, that helps a fair bit but for what I'm doing, I want my preview up so I can manage the visuals with more confidence. I will be optimizing the images I'm using, as they are too huge. Still, I really want OBS optimized as much as possible for this older machine. Hardware upgrades are not an option a this time.
