Hello! I'm writing because I know there are guides and what not on this topic (I've read both the CPU usage and dropped frames guides here, for example), but what I'm hoping for is something a bit more specific here to my own capabilities. I basically have:
Intel i7‑920 CPU
12GB RAM
GTX 770
Speeds:
I'm in Los Angeles, and primarily use Restream.io to stream. I typically use these settings:
NVENC Encoder
3500 Bitrate
CBR Rate Control
I'm asking because I've been getting tons of dropped frames of late using Restream's closest server in San Jose (even though I get a lower ping at a server such as Washington DC or Dallas), so I'm wondering if y'all had any other setting suggestions I could try to squash this issue. I'm not sure if CPU usage is the issue because OBS never seems to report more than 35ish% when streaming games or video, so I'm thinking it's either bandwidth or OBS settings.
Thanks for your time!
