I've been playing around with my new PC upgrade to try and get some better quality recordings for YouTube, and in the future I'll be streaming, but I'm running into a few weird issues. For one, Game Capture is being a mess, but that's to be expected of OBS (half of my peers can't even get game-capture to work) and while it works in most games it always shows "Skipped Frames" in the log, while it's not really notice-able in most games it does bother me since even dropping my recordings to 500 in bitrate still 'skips' frames...
What I'm referring to (with my last recording settings, using CQP, I know)
My system Specs
OS : Windows 10 (Anniversary)
GPU : GTX 1070
CPU : i7 6700k 4.00 GHz
RAM : 32 G (Currently clocked at 2100)
OBS : Studio Version 0.15.4 (x64)
I'm using Sonic Generations and Savant Ascent to test (Quick Movement, lots of colors... and they're one of the few games I have installed for video purposes). I tried using Dying Light but Game Capture is causing recording stutter (using display capture does alright, but is heavy...). Footage is far more than usable, and looks great, but I'm looking for some maybe setting modifications that could help ensure smooth recording or maybe a solution to my current problem (I hate recording to only have it all fall apart because footage was unusable. Almost as bad as forgetting to turn on my mic >.>).
