I have been playing with a Dazzle DVC100 Rev 1.1 on Windows and Linux for the last several days. I am having issues getting it to work reliably on either Windows or Linux. it seems I have audio issues on booth and in Windows I was not able to capture at 720x480 only 640x480 but did not spend much time on that nor the sound issues. I did try a fix I found on Youtube but it did not work for me.
Is there hope of getting this beast working on Windows? I do have a spare Windows 10 License and plan to reformat a MacMini with osx10.15 and Linux or WIndows partition for the dazzle DVC100 captures
I read in a few place that this device is one of the few devices that properly handles Interlaced NTSC video and I know I have tried other devices and using my ffmpex recipe with yadif =1 in ffmpeg while upscaling to 720p with this device gives me better quality than other composite captures I have tested. I sure hope I can make the audio work in either Windows or Linux.
