Question / Help OpenGL version

when I try to start OBS by typing obs on a terminal I get the following error message:
error: Failed to create OpenGL context.
error: Failed to create context!
*** Error in `obs': double free or corruption (out): 0x0000000001a14a40 ***
Aborted (core dumped)
I read that OBS requires OpenGL version 3.2+, mine is 1.4.
Is this the problem? Should I upgrade it?
My GPU is:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03).
I run on Ubuntu 15.04.

You will need to get a better system anyway, anything with that GPU is too slow anyway. Besides not supporting the OpenGL version required by OBS.
