Question / Help Only one sound source being sent

Since a recent update in Debian (obs, gstreamer et alia) only my voice is being recorded and sent to twitch, no game sound. If I recall correctly I solved this last time by changing from VLC or altering the rendering software to a different one anyway? But maybe not it was a while ago, (VLC can only record render sound input?) but can no longer find a switch to alter this. Any ideas?

Seems there have been a few sound issue questions similar to this one recently so maybe a solution for many of them is here?
Edit:
Mixing my acronyms here, it was flv not vlc - seems I'm using mkv anyway so scratch that. Still, no game sound output anymore.

Hmm, okay, while pulse was showing audio volumes as okay and sound comes through at my end, after looking through pasystray, default audio levels on the obs monitors is set to very low automagically.
By:
1 install pasystray
2 open obs
3 set volume controls to be higher (pasystray volume controls - recording - obs).
It works.
Without pasystray there is no obvious way to access these levels as standard pulse controls showed them as normal even when they were really set to v-low/off.
