Question / Help only get obs screens in perspective

I have 0bs v 18 and am running windows 10. I have the default settings.

When I create a scene and a windows or display choice, all I get is the screen with multiple obs screens in perspective.
However if I create a new screen and it is highlighted and then create another display or windows screen, it shows the browser window with all white inside the browser window and the outside of the browser- the top bottom and sides - is fine.
I cannot find anything that remotely answers the question and there is almost nothng on v 18.

From what you're describing, seems like you're experiencing the Droste effect:

What you are seeing is normal and is called the Droste Effect. It will go away when you stop looking at the OBS preview on the same display you're capturing. Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droste_effect

Unfortunately, that is what I get if I try to record anything within my browser running. The audio is fine. The old classic works like a charm.

Well you didn't post a log, so I can't really help you in figuring out the issue.

I am sorry, but I cannot so that as I now have another problem. I uninstalled it. To try to get a log file, I reinstalled it, but I cannot open the program. The box around the program flashes and then nothing.
