Only displays top left of screen

I have the source as display capture, but when I record, only the top left of the screen is recorded. I have tried changing resolutions, canvas sizes etc... but nothing seems to make a difference. For reference I'm using a Macbook air with the latest OS Tahoe 26.2 and using the Mac's own camera and microphone.

What am I doing wrong?

On Retina Macs, this usually happens because Display Capture grabs at the logical resolution but OBS treats it differently from what you expect. Try deleting the source and re-adding it as "macOS Screen Capture" (not Display Capture) with type set to Display. Also right-click the source → Filters to check if there's an accidental crop filter hiding the rest of the screen.

First of all, try to make sure that the canvas and output resolution of your recording application match the screen of your MacBook. Also, don't forget to select the correct monitor in Display Capture and turn off scaling. Because only the upper left corner can be recorded.
