Hi there, just passing this info along for further testing. Not sure what the cause is. I just got a new laptop and ran into some issues installing on the new machine. All of the below pertains to use of Display Capture.
Original PC
- Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1, 64-bit
- Installed version 23.2.1, 64 bit
- only has Intel
- all works as expected
New PC
- Dell Precision 5540, 64-bit
- Installed version 24.0.1, 64-bit
- has NVIDIA, followed the config instructions in the wiki & it did not work on Integrated
- installed 23.2.1, 32-bit and it worked once configuring it to run on Integrated, then tried 64-bit on 23.2.1 and same outcome as 24.0.1, did not work, went back to the 32-bit 23.2.1 version, it worked again, then updated to 24.0.1, and it still works
- not sure why it's only working on 32-bit, when I have a 64-bit machine, thought I'd pass this along in case it helps others, and there's some sort of bug or additional configuration needed
- when I did have 24.0.1 64-bit installed, I was able to get Window Capture working, BUT I prefer to use Display Capture
Sorry, but I did not pul any logs. Discovered instructions on that after doing all of the above, and I don't want to uninstall/reinstall again.
