One of the window captures options shows WDADesktopService.exe

So this is odd. It isn't an issue with OBS, just want to know if it's something I should be worried about. Under sources I have "Window capture selected" and one of the options is [WDADesktopService.exe]: WDADesktop Service

When selected I see a box, but it's blank. I searched for this and I see it's a wireless display adapter. Is it anything to worry about? I just worry it's malware or a virus or something. Can anyone shed any light on this? I took a screenshot of it.

It's nothing to worry about. Either you have wireless adapter that transmits to a 3rd party receiver or TV, Projector etc or it's preinstalled on some laptops, workbooks etc.

Ok good. I don't transmit my PC out to tvs or anything, but I did try to cast from chrome to my TV a while back. Could it have been because of that? I also have a bluetooth transmitter thing for my PC to connect stuff, that wouldn't be it would it? I do have wifi on it as well, but I am connected via ethernet for that.

Thanks for the help. :)

Sounds like it's the transmitter you've used to connect to your TV.
Either way, it's not harmful. :)
