One camera source with multiple video configurations?

My setup is mobile and wheels to different locations so the lighting can change from scene to scene. I know you can adjust brightness, contrast etc through Video Configuration within the source properties. However what if different scenes require different configurations? I know they stay tied to that specific source so I tried making multiple sources with the same camera but different names. This didn't work either as only one would stay functional, each one would freeze after making a new one.

Is it possible to create multiple configurations for 1 video input source for different scenes?

What do you mean by configuration?
Will the brightness and contrast be adjusted each time?
