I stream almost nightly and it usually works fine. Sometimes (3% of the time?) I boot up OBS and my avermedia livegamer hd 2 simply does not "hear" the gaming pc's audio signal. There's a little big of green on the equalizer bar meaning signal is there, but not really reading. Obviously it is supposed to fluctuate with sound fluctuation. Often restarting OBS will work. When that fails, a reboot works. Tonight, neither.
What causes this bug/glitch? It's annoying. Why can't it simply work all the time? What different event is occurring to make this not work?
