Question / Help Old MAC OBS settings?

Hi all! New here so if this has been answered I'm sorry; I have an early 2009 iMac and ~30up & 15down, whenever I stream all of the browser sources play fine but my actual gameplay/camera lag so bad that there's hardly a point to streaming. I just got affiliate and I want to go stream to celebrate. Any ideas?

Currently ONLY streaming The Sims 4 on the Mac.

MissSnipes, I also have a 2009 iMac, and had similar issues until yesterday when I changed some settings in OBS that worked like a charm. Here's what I put:

Output Mode: Advanced
Rescale Output > Output Resolution: 852x480
Rate Control: CBR
Bitrate: 1500
Keyframe Interval: 2
CPU Usage Preset: veryfast
Profile: Main

Give that a shot. Worked wonders for me. The two factors you can then manipulate if you like to find a better sweet spot would be the bitrate and then maybe CPU usage. Good luck!
