I use OBS as my virtual camera, where I have myself in the bottom corner and my game in the background. I'm using an Oculus Quest 2, and playing games through Steam.
What I have working is:
- the people in the Teams call can see my video from the OBS virtual cam
- they can hear me talking through my Oculus quest built-in microphone
- I can hear the game through my Oculus headphones
- I can hear the MS Teams meeting through my Oculus headphones
What is NOT working:
- I want them to also hear the game sound, as well as my own voice
(output of my Quest 2 microphone AND the steam game)
In OBS, under Settings -> Audio -> Advanced, I set my 'Monitoring Device' to:
Headphones (Oculus Virtual Audio Device)
[this is the only VR related item that shows in this menu]
Where I'm stuck is what/which setting to change in the Audio Mixer window. I have these added there now:
Headphones (Oculus Virtual Audio Device)
MIcrophone (Virtual Desktop Audio)
Desktop Audio (this is configured as 'Default' and my game and other sounds show db activity here)
I see I can make some audio sources do "monitor and output" but I'm not exactly sure how to make the sound from my game (so what I hear in my Oculus Quest headphones) output to Microsoft Teams. Whatever I've tried so far hasn't worked.
