Idea for Object/Layer:
>>> OCR Open Character Recognition from Video (or Source) output to layer as GDI/GDI+ on-air text source <<<
I play some source video from a VNC feed that has text info, but since it's a video there's no way to refine the text in the video for OBS.
So the idea is basically to have an "Open Character Recognizer" (recognition) or 'OCR' from any Media Source.
The use case would be video feed from Rekordbox (DJ software) over a VNC window (from 2nd pc).
I capture the video feed from the 2nd PC and use that to show music playlist info or 'track-id' for viewers.
For Example:
But the text quality isn't the best, and it's limited to static text.
Having an output of this info would give me plenty of creative options.
I would have the track-id information appear more clearly with text, change color/size/font based on the scene, and animate if possible.
It would be great to apply filters to the text just like any other layer if possible - not sure.
If this is a feature already available please advise I'd use it right away!
