Occasional Blinking - warning: mjpeg_decode_dc: bad vlc: 0:0 in log

I'm using Windows 10 64bit, with Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme for input.
Once every 5-30minutes or so, the output stream will blink for a split second. Logs show the below error messages.
When I'm lucky, it doesn't blink for the entire 3-4 hours of the streaming session.
Does anyone have experience with this?

11:33:36.557: warning: mjpeg_decode_dc: bad vlc: 0:0 (000002D5A50E9910)
11:33:36.557: error: error dc
11:33:36.557: error: error y=132 x=47

This is way too late to be any help, but I have the exact same problem using a much lower quality input card. It's "nice" to know it's not my cheap capture card that is the problem ... but less nice not knowing what it is. Did you discover anything?

Resurrecting an old thread. Anyone have a solution for this?

I've tried:
Different USB port
Separate USB-C Gen2 USB PCIE card
Software encoding
Various settings changes

My recent log:
18:12:34.060: warning: mjpeg_decode_dc: bad vlc: 0:0 (0000019D166754D0)
18:12:34.060: error: error dc
18:12:34.060: error: error y=134 x=8

I can reproduce this consistently when opening the app. About 60 errors occur then it stabiizes. Then randomly a while later occasional errors and flickering.

It's frustrating that there is no information on how to fix this issue. Is it a hardware issue? Driver issue?

This is usually an issue with the USB hardware. The data stream from the webcam or capture card contains errors. Can happen if you connect a USB 3 device to a USB 2 port (or use a cable that only allows USB 2 throughput), use a defective cable, overloaded USB bus (don't use a USB hub - directly connect your device to a port on the PC/Laptop instead). Might also happen if you have a power hungry USB device without power supply, so it drains the USB supplied power.

To verify actual USB speed, usbtreeview is very useful: https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbtreeview_e.html
